This is a Public Service Announcement for the President's Scout Award Chapter. The Chapter was founded this year and is trying ways and means to contact all President Scouts, Queen Scouts and King Scouts in Singapore to invite them as members. The event will be officiated by the President. Here is a news excerpt from the Asia Pacific Region Office:

Singapore President to inaugurate Singapore Scout Guild

The Singapore Scout Guild President's Scout Chapter was established at the beginning of 2006. Chief Scout & President of the Republic of Singapore, HE S.R. Nathan, will inaugurate the President's Scout Chapter at the Istana on 31 October. Many of the President's Scout Chapter founding members are members of the APR Association of Top Achiever Scouts (ATAS).

The other two interesting bits of Scout news I've learned recently are that
1) As of this year, Girl Scouts is an officially recognised CCA by MOE. I wonder how the Guides feel about that? Maybe they will start Boy Guides.
2) There is a Mozzie Buster Proficiency Badge! Serious stuff man.
